Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you access or use Whalepod.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Whalepod, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and applicable policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and accept responsibility for activity under your account. One person must not impersonate another or create accounts to evade enforcement.

3. Community service only

Whalepod is a social community for conversation, networking and sharing personal opinions. We are not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, portfolio manager or custodian. We do not execute trades, hold investment funds, guarantee returns or verify that any user opinion is accurate.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting it, you grant Whalepod a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and distribute it only as needed to operate, promote and improve the service, subject to your visibility settings. You confirm that you have the rights required to post it.

5. Prohibited conduct

Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, hateful, threatening, harassing, exploitative or infringing content; manipulate engagement; spread malware; scrape or access the service without authorisation; evade security or moderation; solicit credentials; impersonate others; or present personal opinions as guaranteed investment outcomes.

6. Moderation

We may review, limit, hide, reject or remove content and may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts to enforce these Terms, protect users or comply with law. Real-user posts may require approval before they are visible to others. Content matching configured forbidden words may be visible only to its sender and later removed.

7. Memberships and advertisements

Paid membership and advertising provide only the benefits and delivery described at checkout. Approval, duration, reach, fees and payment instructions are shown before submission. Advertising must be clearly identifiable and comply with our rules and applicable law.

8. Third-party services and links

Whalepod may display links, previews, payment methods or sign-in services provided by third parties. We do not control their content, availability, security or terms. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their policies.

9. Service availability

We may change, maintain, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available access.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service and user content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for your decisions and interactions. Whalepod is not liable for market losses, user statements, off-platform dealings or indirect losses beyond liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Ending use

You may stop using Whalepod at any time. We may restrict or close an account for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, fraud or security risks. Provisions that by nature should survive termination continue to apply.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates will be communicated where appropriate. Questions may be sent through the support channel available in Whalepod. Mandatory rights under your local law are not limited by these Terms.
